Fungal or bacterial diseases

One of the most frequent problems in vegetable and flower gardens is the proliferation of fungal or bacterial diseases on plants, more commonly referred to as mould.

If not treated in time, these pathogens can rapidly destroy entire cultivations.

Fungal diseases are also linked to external factors, such as extremely wet periods or wounds on trunks, stems or fruit.

Good prevention entails inspection of the plants and prompt elimination of the affected parts, which must not be added to the compost heap as they may spread the problem to other, healthy plants.

They are also spread via stagnant water, which encourages rotting roots; excellent drainage must therefore be guaranteed.

To successfully combat fungal diseases action must be taken in time with specific products.
